where did they meet?
At University studying Music

popping the question
A romantic picnic down by the Lake in Canberra and a surprise proposal from Michael

what was the highlight of the day?
It was all wonderful, but especially the smile on Michael's face when we first saw each other at the church

most difficult part of planning
1. Living in two different cities and 2. Trying to have a budget wedding in one of the more expensive areas of Sydney

how is married life?
Wonderful!

advice for other couples?
Decide what the most important things are to you both and then work from there

Flowers:   Bush Roses   Yass

Grew the flowers and delivered fresh roses to our home

Bush roses grow the most amazing flowers, delicately perfumed and in a wide range of colours. They delivered the flowers to my mother's house in Canberra a couple of days before the wedding and they were still fresh on the day despite being transported up to Sydney in a hot car.

Nora took the most amazing pictures and made us feel relaxed. She even stayed longer than we asked for at the reception to take some more laid back photos as we had issues with windy weather in our chosen portrait spot (which wasn't her fault at all!!). As it turns out, the windy weather made for some dramatic pictures which is a credit to her skills as a photographer.

Nothing - I wish I hired her for the whole reception as well.

The food, service and setup was excellent. They really looked after s and our guests and made sure everyone could relax and enjoy the evening.

A very minor thing - a few boxes that our hire equipment came in got lost in the process of packing up.

Helpful staff, fitted G and BM well

Had ties for hire in a bigger range of colours - the ones they had didn't quite match the Maid of Honour's outfit.

Lina handcrafted my Maid of Honour and I's necklaces and earrings from Swarovski crystal beads and freshwater pearls. Although the designs she suggested were already beautiful, she went out of her way to make my jewellery to a particular design that I gave her to match the unusual colour and design of my bridal gown. Also very reasonably priced.

Nothing, Lina was wonderful to work with.

Silvia looked after all our requests, even the unusual ones (a grand piano wheeled into the function room, for example) with the utmost professionalism and attention to detail - Thankyou!
